The first weekend of fall looks like a promising weekend of community activities and sunny weather. On Sunday, Denville will be bustling with activities starting off with the Farmers’ Market in the Bloomfield parking lot. Alongside of the Farmers’ Market, the Denville Sustainability Committee will be hosting the Denville Green Fair from 8:30am-1:00pm.
The Green Fair is a great chance to learn more about the organizations and companies around town that are involved in making Denville greener and more sustainable.
In the past, I had the chance to learn about the Beautification Committee’s ongoing efforts, as well as other eco-friendly initiatives. I saw that The Ayres/Knuth Foundation will also be at the Green Fair to share information about Pathways to History Tour, Howard Squire Day and their Annual Christmas Tree Sale fundraiser. I’m looking forward to seeing what other organizations will be at the Fair this year.
